Metamora Chainsaw Carving Invitational

Numerous chainsaw carvers converge on the village of Metamora every Memorial Day weekend. Carvers complete a project during the day Friday & Saturday to auction off to the public on Sunday. Bid on one of the large projects or purchase smaller items directly from the carver. Memorial Day Ceremony on the canal takes place at 2:00 on Sunday, immediately followed by auction. Come and stay for the weekend! Over 40 shops, restaurants, and attractions are open. Several Bed & Breakfast , cabin, and hotel options are available in the area.
