June 26 – Brookville Music on Main – live music all over Brookville’s historic Main Street District, Blazin’ Wings contest, Classic Chrome Cruise-In, and the unveiling of Franklin County’s Mosaic Mural.
June 27 – Canoe Races at the east fork of the Whitewater River. Check-in begins at 8:00 am at Morgan’s Canoes. Spectators encouraged to line up along the spillway and cheer on the teams. Public invited to awards ceremony and reception immediately after races at Morgan’s Canoes.
June 27 – Colonial Craft Fair at The Hermitage – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
June 27 – Grand Opening of new Pickleball Courts 8:45 am
June 27 – Music on Mill Block Party – starts at 8:00 a.m – vendor event featuring The Roaming Mug, The Yeast of These cinnamon rolls and homemade bread, Blessed Links jewelry and ear piercing. Walking tacos available from The Roaming Mug starting at 3:00
June 27 – Oldenburg Summer Bash – 5K race 9:00 am, Parade 12:00 noon, Street Fair 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm, featuring a 32 team corn hold tournament, craft and domestic beer stands, music on the streets with Old Man Band 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, food on the street featuring fried chicken, ribeye and tenderloin sandwiches, homemade ice cream, kids’ games and activities, cash raffle at 5:00 pm
June 30 – Martha Washington DAR program at the Brookville Library – 6:00 pm
July 1 – Judging the decoration contest of Brookville homes and businesses
July 3 – Live music at the Eagles and Third Place beginning at 4:00. Fireworks and live music at Brookville Town Park featuring Modest Charisma and Naked Karate Girls, beer garden, American Legion chicken fry and frozen pina coladas. Winners of decorating contests announced – starts at 6:00 pm. Queen of Hearts drawing at 7:00 pm
July 4 – Raleigh Ringers at FCHS Auditorium – 4:00 pm
July 4 – Metamora – Live music in town all day, Parade at 6:00 pm. Free Movie Night featuring National Treasure – Book of Secrets at 9:00 at Metamora Community Building at 19162 US 52, Metamora. Snacks and drinks available for purchase and proceeds benefit I Love Metamora, Inc.
July 7 – Program at Brookville Library “What Happened to the Signers of the Declaration of Independence?” by Joe Studt
July 8 – Dedication of the Liberty Tree and Reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Franklin County Courthouse – 6:00 pm
