A week-long celebration of America’s 250 birthday and Franklin County’s unique part of that history! The party begins Friday, June 26 with live music all over Brookville’s historic Main Street District, a classic car cruise-in, and the unveiling of Franklin County’s Mosaic Mural.
June 27 – Canoe Races at the east fork of the Whitewater River
June 27 & 28 – Art Fair at The Hermitage
June 30 – Martha Washington DAR program at the Brookville Library
July 1 – Judging the decoration contest of Brookville homes and businesses
July 3 – Parade through Brookville, decor winners announced, and fireworks and bands at Brookville Town Park
July 4 – Raleigh Ringers at FCHS Auditorium
July 4 – Metamora Parade & Free Movie Night
July 7 – Program at Brookville Library “What Happened to the Signers of the Declaration of Independence?” by Joe Studt
July 8 – Planting of the Liberty Tree and Reading of the Declaration of Independence
