Brookville DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area)

The Town of Brookville passed an Ordinance on July 25, 2024 to create a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) to enable patrons 21 and older to purchase alcoholic beverages from approved establishments and sip, stroll, shop and explore the Brookville Historic District.

Currently, there are seven bars or restaurants participating in DORA. They are VFW Post 2014, Brookville Lanes, Fraternal Order of Eagles #1129, Third Place, Pioneer Restaurant & Lounge, Knights of Columbus, Hilltop Restaurant & Sports Dining. Look for the green DORA signs which indicate retail merchants who have agreed to participate and allow alcoholic beverages in their businesses, as specified in Brookville’s DORA ordinance.

No exploring outside the DORA boundaries with your beverages, recycle or dispose of cups before entering the next liquor establishment, no BYOB within the DORA boundaries or at participating establishments, must be 21 or older to participate.

Scan the QR code on the DORA signs for more information.
